Be Curly Aveda ImageCurly Hair is a fantastic thing...when you can get it to work for you. All too often the beauty of curly hair is lost to the elastic band.

The key is proper management often through determining the proper length for "your type" of curly hair, getting the right cut and religiously using the correct liquid technology (which is "product" in layman’s vocabulary.) Curly hair cannot be controlled if one chooses to take a "no product' approach. It sounds good on paper but it simply invites the elastic band into your life permanently.

Consultations are free, but an appointment should be made to ensure you get a stylist who is comfortable with and has a knack for curly hair. Then toss that nasty elastic to some other curly-haired cutie who hasn’t yet figured out the “fantastic”.
